Seeking a National Sales Manager for NTS

We are soon to lose our National Sales Manager, Steve Capeness, as he is moving to Bali to begin a new consulting life in that region.

As a result, we are now seeking a replacement and I felt that it could be a good starting point to advertise this position on my weekly blog.

The position involves liaising with and servicing over 140 NTS distributors around Australia and identifying and developing quality new prospects.

Essential Requirements:

  • Industry experience is necessary. This includes a broad knowledge of farming practices, products and programs.

  • The candidate must be passionate about sustainable agriculture and the potential to make a difference.

  • This person must be flexible, resilient and adaptable to thrive in a burgeoning, dynamic industry.

  • The candidate must be self-motivated and capable of exploring the intricacies of reseller networks and relationships.

  • Must be prepared to travel (nationally and internationally).

Desirable Qualities:

  • Ideally, the applicant should be able to demonstrate an understanding of sustainable agriculture and all of its dynamics.

  • Preferably, the candidate should have an agronomy background (but this is not essential).

  • A Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment would be an advantage.

  • Presentation skills would also be preferred, as education is a large NTS focus (seminars, sales training etc.). Steve has been my co-presenter at our four-day courses around the world and we will need someone suitable to fill this role.
